This is the third book from Vi I’ve read. I think they keep getting better. I loved these characters and their story. I love how I felt their highs and lows. It was romantic in an unconventional way. Great read!

Brought together to takeover The Countess, a hotel that has history with both their families, they have been tasked to run it together while their respective corporations put together bids to purchase the remaining stock to make one of them the majority shareholder. Too bad they are bitter enemies and have no qualms about playing dirty to win, until they realize that the dirty doesn't have to be only for the boardroom, the chemistry they have is scorching enough to burn up the bed sheets. Can these two get out of their own way long enough to realize the treasure they have in each other or will family history repeat itself again. Loved it! Enjoy!

It is hands down Ms. Keeland’s best book to date. It was hot, charming, witty, and had unforgettable characters. Weston Lockwood stole my heart from the first cocky sentence he said. He is everything you want in a book boyfriend-successful, totally alpha, and completely charming. Then throw in an amazing heroine-I WAS DONE FOR. Sophia was Weston’s perfect counterpart in every way. Together, their chemistry was off the charts. I seriously could not put this book down for anything. If you read one book this year-this has to be it!!

Sophia and Weston are sworn enemies because of a love triangle that envolved both of their grandfathers decades ago. Now they are forced to work together as heirs to a hotel, and the controlling share of the hotel is up for bids. Secrets will be kept and heart will be broken, but how far are they willing to go for family approval? I was hooked from the very beginning. Sophia is a strong woman that has just had her heartbroken and Weston is trying to rise up from past mistakes. I love that a vulnerable side is shown in Weston at times, while still maintaining the playboy alpha male persona. I was entertained with the plot twists and the writing style evoked each emotion perfectly. Weston and Sophia have a smoldering hot love-hate relationship and I loved every minute of it.

Wow! I absolutely loved this enemies to lovers storyline. The chemistry between Weston and Sophia is electric and charges from the beginning. Their fun and flirty banter will keep you hooked until the end. Weston will hook line and sink you. I absolutely adored him and loved the strong and sassy Sophia. Their story will have you laugh, swoon and possibly tear up rooting for their happily ever after. Most definitely worth the read!

This story definitely started out with a bang! And I loved every single word of it. You’ll be sucked into this rivalry and the heat will keep you glued to the pages until The End. Why was their hate so swoony and hot!?! I hated putting this down to go about that pesky “life” thing every now and then. I was consumed by these characters and how their chemistry sizzled off the pages and seared into my soul. This is not a story I’ll forget. These characters are a forever type of amazing that will definitely stick with you. Weston is everything you’ll ever need from a hero. I hope Scarlet gets a story, she’s delightful! Re-read worthy, but that’s expected from Vi. A real must read and one of my all time favorite enemy to lovers book to date!

NO SPOILERS! Vi Keeland never disappoints! The Rivals was a super sexy [read: dirty ;)], swoony, funny, and entertaining standalone contemporary romance that kept me riveted from beginning to end, and I absolutely loved Weston and Sophia’s story. The unique storyline and lovable characters were phenomenal, and I loved Keeland’s simple and seemingly effortless prose. Her romances are always a pleasure to read, and she never fails to wow me every single time. Weston and Sophia were amazing, especially Weston, and I adored them with all my heart. They were so incredibly special, and I loved watching their story unfold. Weston and Sophia’s romantic journey definitely wasn’t easy, but everything was totally worth it in the end and I was ecstatic with the conclusion. Whew. This book was utterly satisfying in EVERY WAY. So blissfully passionate and delightfully witty. Lush and Romantic. Searingly addicting and sexy. The feels ignite your heart with every turn of the page. The ending will make you spout tears of happiness. Sophia is my favorite heroine of Vi’s! I found myself cheering her compulsively sarcastic and foul mouth on. Her sass and spice brought continuous laughs and smiles of endearment from me.....and Weston. Hello hotness with a heart full of gracefully falling in love. Weston. This man provides endless entertainment. He is compelling in his sweetness....following Sophia around with the butterflies of a first crush. His easy smiles and giving nature make him beautifully broken with hidden sadness. I loved seeing his character growth and his ability to find strength when everything was on the line. Such a gallant and giving male lead with more strength than he realizes. When he falls, he delves deep and doesn’t come up for air until he can breathe fully without device. I endured his and Sophia’s journey without any push. I loved it so much. From the first word to the last I was positively captivated by this book! Doesn't surprise me though since Vi Keeland's books always seem to do that to me! I honestly loved everything about it: from the actual storyline and how things played out, to Weston and Sophia and all the facets of their personalities and their interactions especially!!! They are both such complex and very likable characters. I mean who doesn't love a good old fashioned enemies to lovers story? Sophia and Weston's families are both in the hotel business and have been enemies for years. Little did they know they would find themselves the pawns for their families pitted against each other on the battlefield over control of a hotel both families are invested in. Weston and Sophia love/live to hate each other and it is strangely incredibly hot! Their chemistry is sizzling and their banter is so entertaining. There is so much more going on with both of them than meets the eye especially with Weston and I love that they allow themselves to get to know each other. With each new thing I learned about Weston, I fell even harder for him!! Obviously being enemies lends a certain amount of trouble to a relationship but in the end we definitely get the HEA we are all dying for!! Another 5 star read for me!!

It is hands down Ms. Keeland’s best book to date. It was hot, charming, witty, and had unforgettable characters. Weston Lockwood stole my heart from the first cocky sentence he said. He is everything you want in a book boyfriend-successful, totally alpha, and completely charming. Then throw in an amazing heroine-I WAS DONE FOR. Sophia was Weston’s perfect counterpart in every way. Together, their chemistry was off the charts. I seriously could not put this book down for anything. If you read one book this year-this has to be it!!

Sophia and Weston are sworn enemies because of a love triangle that envolved both of their grandfathers decades ago. Now they are forced to work together as heirs to a hotel, and the controlling share of the hotel is up for bids. Secrets will be kept and heart will be broken, but how far are they willing to go for family approval? I was hooked from the very beginning. Sophia is a strong woman that has just had her heartbroken and Weston is trying to rise up from past mistakes. I love that a vulnerable side is shown in Weston at times, while still maintaining the playboy alpha male persona. I was entertained with the plot twists and the writing style evoked each emotion perfectly. Weston and Sophia have a smoldering hot love-hate relationship and I loved every minute of it.

This story definitely started out with a bang! And I loved every single word of it. You’ll be sucked into this rivalry and the heat will keep you glued to the pages until The End. Why was their hate so swoony and hot!?! I hated putting this down to go about that pesky “life” thing every now and then. Whew. This book was utterly satisfying in EVERY WAY. So blissfully passionate and delightfully witty. Lush and Romantic. Searingly addicting and sexy. The feels ignite your heart with every turn of the page. The ending will make you spout tears of happiness. Sophia is my favorite heroine of Vi’s! I found myself cheering her compulsively sarcastic and foul mouth on. Her sass and spice brought continuous laughs and smiles of endearment from me.....and Weston. Hello hotness with a heart full of gracefully falling in love. Weston. This man provides endless entertainment. From the first word to the last I was positively captivated by this book! Doesn't surprise me though since Vi Keeland's books always seem to do that to me! I honestly loved everything about it: from the actual storyline and how things played out, to Weston and Sophia and all the facets of their personalities and their interactions especially!!! They are both such complex and very likable characters. I mean who doesn't love a good old fashioned enemies to lovers story? Sophia and Weston's families are both in the hotel business and have been enemies for years. Little did they know they would find themselves the pawns for their families pitted against each other on the battlefield over control of a hotel both families are invested in. Weston and Sophia love/live to hate each other and it is strangely incredibly hot! Their chemistry is sizzling and their banter is so entertaining. There is so much more going on with both of them than meets the eye especially with Weston and I love that they allow themselves to get to know each other. With each new thing I learned about Weston, I fell even harder for him!! Obviously being enemies lends a certain amount of trouble to a relationship but in the end we definitely get the HEA we are all dying for!! Another 5 star read for me!!

This is the third book from Vi I’ve read. I think they keep getting better. I loved these characters and their story. I love how I felt their highs and lows. It was romantic in an unconventional way. Great read!

What an amazing story Ms Keeland has spun....again! With Shakespeare quotes and misquotes, it's a fascinating tale of a modern day Romeo and Juliet. But, unlike the Bard's ill fated lovers, I got my much anticipated HEA that made my day. Thank you Vi.

The Rivals by Vi Keeland is a standalone contemporary romance novel filled with passionate enemies-to-lovers vibes and a classy hotel, business rivalry and competitive spirit. Brought together to takeover The Countess, a hotel that has history with both their families, they have been tasked to run it together while their respective corporations put together bids to purchase the remaining stock to make one of them the majority shareholder. Too bad they are bitter enemies and have no qualms about playing dirty to win, until they realize that the dirty doesn't have to be only for the boardroom, the chemistry they have is scorching enough to burn up the bed sheets. Can these two get out of their own way long enough to realize the treasure they have in each other or will family history repeat itself again. Loved it! Enjoy!

All. The. Stars. The Rivals is the incredible new stand-alone by Vi Keeland. There are no words to adequately describe how amazing this book truly was. It is hands down Ms. Keeland’s best book to date. It was hot, charming, witty, and had unforgettable characters. Weston Lockwood stole my heart from the first cocky sentence he said. He is everything you want in a book boyfriend-successful, totally alpha, and completely charming. Then throw in an amazing heroine-I WAS DONE FOR. Sophia was Weston’s perfect counterpart in every way. Together, their chemistry was off the charts. I seriously could not put this book down for anything. If you read one book this year-this has to be it!!

Perfect enemies to lovers story!

Sophia and Weston are sworn enemies because of a love triangle that envolved both of their grandfathers decades ago. Now they are forced to work together as heirs to a hotel, and the controlling share of the hotel is up for bids. Secrets will be kept and heart will be broken, but how far are they willing to go for family approval? I was hooked from the very beginning. Sophia is a strong woman that has just had her heartbroken and Weston is trying to rise up from past mistakes. I love that a vulnerable side is shown in Weston at times, while still maintaining the playboy alpha male persona. I was entertained with the plot twists and the writing style evoked each emotion perfectly. Weston and Sophia have a smoldering hot love-hate relationship and I loved every minute of it.

Fantastic read!

Wow! I absolutely loved this enemies to lovers storyline. The chemistry between Weston and Sophia is electric and charges from the beginning. Their fun and flirty banter will keep you hooked until the end. Weston will hook line and sink you. I absolutely adored him and loved the strong and sassy Sophia. Their story will have you laugh, swoon and possibly tear up rooting for their happily ever after. Most definitely worth the read!

This story definitely started out with a bang! And I loved every single word of it. You’ll be sucked into this rivalry and the heat will keep you glued to the pages until The End. Why was their hate so swoony and hot!?! I hated putting this down to go about that pesky “life” thing every now and then. I was consumed by these characters and how their chemistry sizzled off the pages and seared into my soul. This is not a story I’ll forget. These characters are a forever type of amazing that will definitely stick with you. Weston is everything you’ll ever need from a hero. I hope Scarlet gets a story, she’s delightful! Re-read worthy, but that’s expected from Vi. A real must read and one of my all time favorite enemy to lovers book to date!

NO SPOILERS! Vi Keeland never disappoints! The Rivals was a super sexy [read: dirty ;)], swoony, funny, and entertaining standalone contemporary romance that kept me riveted from beginning to end, and I absolutely loved Weston and Sophia’s story. The unique storyline and lovable characters were phenomenal, and I loved Keeland’s simple and seemingly effortless prose. Her romances are always a pleasure to read, and she never fails to wow me every single time. Weston and Sophia were amazing, especially Weston, and I adored them with all my heart. They were so incredibly special, and I loved watching their story unfold. Weston and Sophia’s romantic journey definitely wasn’t easy, but everything was totally worth it in the end and I was ecstatic with the conclusion. The Rivals was another winner from Vi Keeland and a definite MUST READ standalone contemporary romance you don’t want to miss!

Whew. This book was utterly satisfying in EVERY WAY. So blissfully passionate and delightfully witty. Lush and Romantic. Searingly addicting and sexy. The feels ignite your heart with every turn of the page. The ending will make you spout tears of happiness. Sophia is my favorite heroine of Vi’s! I found myself cheering her compulsively sarcastic and foul mouth on. Her sass and spice brought continuous laughs and smiles of endearment from me.....and Weston. Hello hotness with a heart full of gracefully falling in love. Weston. This man provides endless entertainment. He is compelling in his sweetness....following Sophia around with the butterflies of a first crush. His easy smiles and giving nature make him beautifully broken with hidden sadness. I loved seeing his character growth and his ability to find strength when everything was on the line. Such a gallant and giving male lead with more strength than he realizes. When he falls, he delves deep and doesn’t come up for air until he can breathe fully without device. I endured his and Sophia’s journey without any push. I loved it so much. The premise really struck me, and I loved every moment. I just as unsure how the story would play out, and unsurprisingly the entirety of the book was just as stunning as expected from this author. This book is a top read of 2020 for me, and I’m so thankful to have read it! I needed their love more than I knew.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

From the first word to the last I was positively captivated by this book! Doesn't surprise me though since Vi Keeland's books always seem to do that to me! I honestly loved everything about it: from the actual storyline and how things played out, to Weston and Sophia and all the facets of their personalities and their interactions especially!!! They are both such complex and very likable characters. I mean who doesn't love a good old fashioned enemies to lovers story? Sophia and Weston's families are both in the hotel business and have been enemies for years. Little did they know they would find themselves the pawns for their families pitted against each other on the battlefield over control of a hotel both families are invested in. Weston and Sophia love/live to hate each other and it is strangely incredibly hot! Their chemistry is sizzling and their banter is so entertaining. There is so much more going on with both of them than meets the eye especially with Weston and I love that they allow themselves to get to know each other. With each new thing I learned about Weston, I fell even harder for him!! Obviously being enemies lends a certain amount of trouble to a relationship but in the end we definitely get the HEA we are all dying for!! Another 5 star read for me!!
